Canceling a Session
Log in to TeachWorks and navigate to the calendar.
Find the session you would like to cancel on the calendar and click on it.
Click "View" to open the session details.
Click "Cancel" to begin the cancellation process.
Review the cancellation policy displayed on the screen.
Click the red "Cancel Lesson" button to proceed.
When prompted, click "OK" to confirm the cancellation.
You will receive a confirmation notice on the screen, and an automatic cancellation email will be sent to you.
Joining a Session From Home
Hover Over "Meet Study Buddy": Move your cursor over the "Meet Study Buddy" section in the top navigation bar.
Click "Current Students": From the dropdown menu, select "Current Students."
Access the Family Portal: Under Important Links, click Family Portal.
Log in to Your Family or Student Portal: Enter your login details to access your portal.
Navigate to Your Session: Find the day and time of your scheduled session on the calendar.
Click the Lesson: Locate your lesson on the calendar and click on it.
Click "View": In the lesson details, click the "View" button.
Join Lessonspace: Click the Lessonspace link listed in the description.
Click "Join": Once Lessonspace opens, click "Join" to enter the session.
Requesting a Session
Log in to Family Portal:
Start by logging into your Family Portal using the link provided by Study Buddy.
Review Tutor Availability:
Use the Tutor Availability box to view which tutors have open time slots.Click “Request a Lesson”:
In the top right corner, click Request a Lesson to begin scheduling your session.Select Your Student:
Choose your student’s name from the dropdown menu.Choose Your Tutor:
Select the tutor you’d like your student to work with.Pick the Service and Location:
Choose the correct service or subject area and session location — whether you’ll be joining from home or at the Study Buddy Center.Review the Date and Time:
Confirm that the start date, end date, and time are correct.Check for Availability Conflicts:
Click “Check Availability Conflicts.”
If no conflicts appear, the time slot should be open — our team will still confirm the session before it’s finalized.Add Comments:
Use the comment box to include any details about what your student should work on during the session.Submit Your Request:
Click Submit to send your session request.Review Your Calendar:
Navigate to your calendar to see your session listed with the word “Requested” next to it.Session Confirmation:
Once the tutor accepts your request, the session will appear on your calendar as a confirmed booking.
