‘See themselves in us': Study Buddy gives kids a greater chance of success’

Two young entrepreneurs started the Study Buddy tutoring program in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and some of their students have  already been accepted to 40 different colleges. News4’s Tony Perkins reports.

Kaylah views each of her students as a beautiful castle with layers. During her radio interview, she shared, "When I first meet them, my goal is to walk around the castle and determine which bricks need reinforcement, so we can build them layer by layer. Whether it is math skills or self-confidence, I believe our students can achieve success. They can achieve academic success and success in their lives."
